For advisers, brokers and accountants

WordPress hosting for
finance professionals

Mortgage brokers, financial advisers, accountants, bookkeepers, insurance brokers, buyers' agents. In your line of work the website is a credibility test - if it throws a certificate warning or takes six seconds to load, people quietly assume the rest of your operation is the same. It needs to be quick, current, and obviously professional.

What finance professionals actually need from a host

Not a feature list. The three things that decide whether your site helps you or embarrasses you.

A certificate warning costs you the client

Nobody hands their financial details to a site the browser has flagged. SSL is issued and renewed automatically on every domain here, including the www address that most hosts quietly leave broken, so the padlock is simply always there.

Calculators and lead forms that keep working

Repayment calculators, borrowing capacity tools and multi-step enquiry forms are the heaviest things on a broker's site and the first to break. Your own container means predictable resources, and controlled updates mean a plugin change happens when you choose, with a backup behind it.

You know exactly where the data is

When a licensee, an aggregator or a client asks where your website data is hosted, you want a straight answer. Australian data centres, Australian company, and a dashboard that shows you which city your site is in.

Everything a finance site usually has to do

All of it runs on a $5 plan. WordPress plugins do the work; we keep the thing they run on fast, patched and backed up.

  • Repayment and borrowing capacity calculators
  • Multi-step enquiry and fact-find forms
  • Credit licence and ABN details in the footer
  • Team profiles and adviser authorisations
  • Downloadable guides and checklists
  • Case studies and client testimonials
Where your data lives

Your site and its database sit in Australian data centres, on hardware we run, and your data does not leave the country. You choose the city yourself when you set the site up, so when a licensee, an aggregator or a client asks where your website is hosted, the answer is a place name you picked - not a support article about a global network of regions.

Need more than a small site?

Every site runs in its own container, and when yours needs more we build a custom one to fit - so you never pay for resources you don't use.

Running a bigger site?

A busy online store, a marketplace or a site with lots of people logging in needs more room - even when it's quiet. We'll build it a container to fit, from $5 a month extra.

FAQ

Finance Professionals - questions we get asked

Where exactly is my site hosted?

In whichever Australian city you chose when you set it up - Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth or Adelaide - and your dashboard shows you which one. Your data does not leave the country.

Can I run calculators and multi-step forms?

Yes. Those are the heaviest things on a broker or adviser site, which is why having your own container matters - your calculator is not queueing behind somebody else's traffic spike.

Will a plugin update break my site overnight?

Nothing updates itself here. You decide when plugins and WordPress core update, from your dashboard, and there is a backup to roll back to if an update goes badly.

What exactly do I get with a "container"?

Your own isolated Docker container running Nginx, PHP-FPM, and WordPress. It's not shared hosting where you're competing with hundreds of other sites for the same WordPress installation. Your container has its own filesystem, its own database user, its own SSL, and its own NVMe storage. You can reboot it, redeploy it, or destroy it from your dashboard without asking anyone.

Do you back up my site?

We offer an optional Daily Backups add-on that takes a daily off-site snapshot of your full WordPress site (files plus database), keeps 7 days of history, and lets you download or one-click restore from your dashboard. You can add it at any time from your dashboard - we never silently charge for it. We strongly recommend it for any production site.

We also recommend exporting your WordPress content periodically yourself (Tools → Export in WP-Admin) and keeping copies offsite. Pricing for the add-on is shown on our website and in your dashboard.

Will you move my existing site over for me?

Yes, and it doesn't cost anything - it's included on both plans, and there is no setup fee, no migration fee and no minimum term attached to it. Tell us where the site is now and give us access, and we'll bring the files and the database across, get it running on our servers, check it over, and only then tell you exactly when to change your DNS. Your existing site stays up and serving visitors the entire time, so there's no window where your site is offline while we work.

While we're in there we'll set Cloudflare up for you as well, if you want it - free CDN, caching and DDoS protection in front of your site. That's also included, and also something we just do rather than something you buy.

If you'd rather move it yourself, you can: the dashboard has import tools that take the common WordPress backup formats, including All-in-One WP Migration and Duplicator archives. Either way, the answer to "what does the move cost" is nothing.

Do you offer a free trial?

No free trial, but the cost to try it is $5. If it's not right for you within the first month, email us and we'll refund it - no questions asked.
